The City of Great Bend, Kansas, is seeking proposals for professional auditing services from Certified Public Accounting firms. The five one-year periods to be audited are calendar years 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030. Auditing firms interested in providing these services to the City of Great Bend should carefully read and strictly follow all instructions provided in the Request for Proposal, available at www.greatbendks.gov. Respondents must be Certified Public Accounting firms and must have previous experience in auditing Kansas governments. Sealed, plainly marked proposals are to be submitted to the City Clerk's Office, 1209 Williams, PO Box 1168, Great Bend, Kansas, 67530. Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2026. Proposals submitted after that time will be time-stamped and returned unopened to firms submitting proposals late. The City of Great Bend reserves the right to reject any and or all proposals. The City of Great Bend also reserves the right to award in the best interest of the City.
